Fall gives you stunning foliage, adding vibrant colors to your photos. Winter, while challenging, can offer unique and beautiful snowy backdrops if you’re up for the adventure and want the cozy vibe. It really all depends on the overall look you want for your session, and try to plan around that!

What to Wear for Senior Photos in Minnesota

When planning your outfit for senior photos in Minnesota, consider the location and the time of year. Light, airy outfits work well in gardens and parks during the warmer months. And cozy layers are perfect for fall and winter sessions. Wear outfits that you feel comfortable in and make you feel confident for your session.

You will also want to choose colors that complement the natural surroundings and reflect your personal style. In most locations above, there is already a lot of color. So adding patterns or other bold colors may no be best for photos, unless the background colors are more muted. I’ll always recommend wearing white as it helps you stand out and doesn’t feel distracting. But any other neutral tones and lighter colors will also work perfectly!
